About Us
We are a collective of six musicians who love playing music with each other and for our community. We are all members of the Pacific Symphony in Orange County, CA and residents of Long Beach, CA.
We created Block x Block to explore our own musical passions and to share them with as many people as possible. All of our performances are offered outdoors with appropriate social distancing and are free of charge to audiences (though donations are gratefully accepted).

Our goal is to provide safe, virtuosic, memorable concert experiences to Southern California audiences during these unprecedented times.
Programming
Our performances are not your standard classical chamber music concerts. Every show we perform is chock full of wide-ranging musical styles and traditions, from klezmer to Scandinavian folk music to Appalachian fiddle tunes. Nearly everything we perform is custom arranged by our musicians exclusively for Block x Block.
